Experience

As a designer who has worn many hats, in my current role, I lead the creative direction for internal projects, making sure everything aligns with WeCreate's branding and marketing strategies. I design and develop for a variety of purposes: from RFP responses and sales pitches to digital ads, brochures, one-pagers, and case studies. I’m also responsible for creating engaging digital ads for social media, and ensuring our online presence is up to (my high) standards. Collaborating with the sales and accounts teams, I help communicate new clients' needs to the (rest of the) design, strategy, and copywriting teams, and ensure my teammates are set up to create work that is visually and strategically cohesive.

Apart from this work I do as a team liaison of sorts, I still deeply enjoy the "in-the-weeds" creative work that I've get the opportunity to do as a senior graphic designer: mood-boarding, designing effective brand identities, crafting creative campaigns, etc. I also deeply enjoy the opportunities I've had to art direct multiple photo and video shoots - starting from a blank excel sheet, crafting a vision and shot list, preparing props and schedules, collaborating with directors, photographers, producers, food stylists, and, ultimately, providing creative direction on set. 

 

My goal regardless of my title or day-to-day responsibilities: to bring creative vision, technical skill, and leadership abilities to the table while ensuring high-quality design work that aligns with your goals.

2021 - Present

WeCreate Media

In my role as a Senior Graphic Designer & Creative Lead, I oversee and manage the design process from concept to execution, ensuring that all creative projects align with branding strategies and are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

  • Guiding the team through creative projects and providing feedback to ensure high-quality outputs that meet brand standards.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on creative objectives and strategies.

  • Design execution & production.

  • Ensuring all designs maintain brand consistency across all projects. I carefully select colors, typography, and elements that reflect the brand identity & mission.

  • Highly knowledgeable in pre-press work, and preparing web and press-ready files for delivery, ensuring designs are optimized for both print and digital formats.

  • Working closely with the Creative Director, copywriters, and other team members to produce polished, final designs. I present rough drafts, gather feedback, and revise designs as needed to meet client expectations.

  • Lead strategic design for all internal collateral to support sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Conceptualize and design digital ads for social media, email campaigns, and display.

  • Study RFPs, pitches, and creative briefs to understand requirements, then designing visually compelling responses to RFPs, creating persuasive pitches and professional decks for sales presentations, client meetings, and internal briefings.

  • I collaborate with the sales team to onboard new clients, ensuring their needs and visual expectations are understood. I also work with the accounts and strategy teams to create cohesive roadmaps and ensure a unified approach in all client communications.

  • Advised executives on marketing and design to maintain and improve the company’s branding.

  • Assigned and delegated tasks within the art team, while consistently meeting deadlines.

  •  Spearheaded email marketing newsletters and managed and created social media content.
